“Re-imagined Landscapes”

 

These re-imagined landscapes were inspired by the memories of travelling in Nepal. The mountains are the place that gives the mind the distance needed to put things in perspective – all that fills our lives and that truly matters. Each trip up there becomes a conversation with the self, each has its own mood – the soft nudes of a hazy morning or the bright pop colours of a vivid dream.

 

The texture in these landscapes forms the picks and creases, giving the works a realistic yet dreamlike feel.

Texture is an important expressive medium, and an intuitive creative process that guides my trowel. This loosening of control enables me to create works with a natural flow and tactility. By layering pigmented plaster, I am able to create a palpable texture that becomes part of the image.

Frame:

This work comes unframed. If you wish to have it framed, please let me know when you place your order. Framing can take two to four weeks. The cost will depend on your choice of frame design and will be invoiced separately.

This is an original work, unique in its execution and to its owner. It is one of a kind and cannot be replicated. Your piece will be the only one like it, anywhere in the world. Each piece is signed and dated by the artist and comes with a printed certificate of authenticity. It includes the image of the artwork, the edition number and artwork details.

Shipping is NOT included in the price. The fees will depend on your location and will be invoiced separately.

 

I take great care in preparing your artwork for shipment to make sure it gets to you safely. All original artwork is carefully packed and sent tracked and signed with a courier service. The work will be delivered within two to three weeks, depending on your location. For large and heavy artwork, I use a fine art delivery service, which can take up to three weeks to ship.

 

Please note that international orders may incur customs duties (intra-EU orders excluded) which are not included in the shipping costs.
