SHIPPING & DELIVERY

SHIPPING

All online orders are sent with a tracked courier service 2-5 days from your order date.

Please note some couriers may have new delivery rules that allow their drivers to leave orders in an alternative location (e.g. with a neighbour or in a safe space). Unfortunately, we cannot control where your order is delivered. Please keep an eye on your parcel tracking to ensure you’re in on the delivery date.

Our bespoke and custom-size orders are sent with tracked & signed delivery and Air Express 3–10 day shipping. Note that shipping times may vary depending on the destination country and customs clearances.

Larger bespoke and custom pieces may require a professional art handling service to protect them from damage. This delivery may take several weeks, depending on your location.

 

 

SHIPPING COSTS

Delivery for the UK and Northern Ireland addresses is free with online orders.

Shipping costs for bespoke and custom-size orders will be individually assessed and invoiced separately for each project.

 

 

PICKING A DELIVERY DATE

If you need a specific delivery date, ready-made purchase orders can be postponed until you’re ready to receive them. Just make sure you email our team within 24 hours of placing the order with instructions and dates to let us know.

We work with couriers that offer scheduling services in case you miss your delivery. If you need a rescheduled delivery, please follow the instructions in the email from the courier company.

For custom and bespoke orders, please email us with the date you wish to have the piece delivered. While we can’t guarantee delivery on the exact date, we can plan our dispatch to your target date, and we can send additional instructions to the courier.

 

 

WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR ORDER

Upon the delivery, the customer should inspect the package carefully and note any signs of damage before accepting the delivery. All damage evidence should be photographed and forwarded to Vacarda Design. You will need to keep the packaging until the claim is settled.

 

 

DUTY & TAXES

 

Orders outside the UK may be subject to customs duty/or tax in shipping to the destination country. Customers are responsible for paying any duty and tax as required.

If you’re outside the UK, make sure you’re aware of any possible charges when ordering. Vacarda Design will not be responsible for paying such charges.

 

 

PACKAGING

At Vacarda Design, we always take great care in preparing your order to ensure it arrives safely. We strive to use recyclable materials to reduce our impact on the environment.

All online texture orders come in a recyclable double-wall cardboard box. Bespoke and custom-size orders are wrapped with protective biodegradable bubble wrap and packed in an extra-strong tube to ensure protection.

Please consider recycling these materials to keep the process sustainable. Thank you!

 

 

 

INSURANCE

During the delivery and shipping process, insurance is provided by Vacarda Design. Vacarda Design accepts no liability for damage or loss after delivery.
