This bespoke Italian plaster-on-canvas painting is one of a kind. It is handcrafted with authentic Italian plaster by patiently layering pigmented plaster to achieve a unique texture and colour effect that gives the work its remarkable depth and vividness.

 “Aurora Etudes”

 

A search for balance between natural imperfection, the random and visual harmony, the Aurora Études is a series of artwork and wall murals in which I hoped to create a pattern with organic texture that is vivid and striking yet soothing and calming. Made in earthy tones, these frescos invite the grounding energy of nature into a space, enhancing any interior, by capturing the process when the random becomes beautiful.

 

Handcrafted with authentic Italian plaster, each piece is touched with iridescent gold paint to give the texture another dimension. The fresco is applied onto watercolour paper or a strong PVC foam base. Each work is as diverse as the last and can be framed, hung or simply propped against a surface.

Texture is an important expressive medium, and an intuitive creative process that guides my trowel. This loosening of control enables me to create works with a natural flow and tactility. By layering pigmented plaster, I am able to create a palpable texture that becomes part of the image.

This work comes unframed. If you wish to have it framed, please let me know when you place your order. Framing can take two to four weeks. The cost will depend on your choice of frame design and will be invoiced separately.

This is an original work, unique in its execution and to its owner. It is one of a kind and cannot be replicated. Your piece will be the only one like it, anywhere in the world. Each piece is signed and dated by the artist and comes with a printed certificate of authenticity. It includes the image of the artwork, the edition number and artwork details.

Delivery within the UK is free. Exceptions might apply to certain areas. Please reach out if in doubt.

 

Shipping outside the UK will incur an additional fee that varies depending on your location. It will be invoiced separately after you submit your order.

 

I take great care in preparing your artwork for shipment to make sure it gets to you safely. All original artwork is carefully packed and sent tracked and signed with a courier service. The work will be delivered within two to three weeks, depending on your location. For large and heavy artwork, I use a fine art delivery service, which can take up to three weeks to ship.

 

Please note international orders may incur customs duties (intra-EU orders excluded) which are not included in the shipping costs.
