This work has a taste of a sugar candy. The one that’s rolled in a paste on a family kitchen table, thinned and torn between the fingers like pizza dough. The one that ends up in your mouth when no one else is looking. What’s left of it gets patched together with cream on top of a cake in layers and layers of sweet fun. As children, we would chew bubble gum with coloured pencil fillers to make it turn the colours of the rainbow. Bright green or purple bubbles were a hit. Warning: Not for eating.
